This is a very long overdue feature on the globally celebrated rock/soul/funk/fusion music of some blokes who met at or around Huddersfield Poly. circa 1988 - The Last Resort Springwood became something of a psychadelic mecca in the time that was perhaps my very own heyday. in a co-incidentally similar way to Killing Joke,  Matt (guitar)
Pat (vocals)
could be compared to Geordie & Jaz as being constant & founding members.
if I have a claim to (in)fame - introducing the music of Killing Joke to such seemingly unconnected persons as Lawrence Ghorra in the late 80's must be in there somewhere (nuf said)
